By Train:
You can get down at Thiruvananthapuram central Station.From there there are 
buses to Light House beach. You can take buses going to  Vizhinjam. If you take an autorickshaw,they will charge Rs.250/-. If you get down at kochuveli station,There will be state transport bus waiting at the time of arrival of train.It will take you to East Fort which is near the bus stand, from there you can take another bus to Vizhinjam. By autorickshaw, it will cost Rs.250/-. One can take autorickshaw from kochuveli Railway station also, then the charges will be Rs.400/-. The tourists can visit Sri Anantha Padmanabha swamy temple near East Fort.
This temple is one of the 108 Divya Kshetrams.There is dress code. Males should 
wear Dhoti, and should not wear shirts.Ladies should wear saris.Dhotis are available for hire near the temple where we keep our bags,mobile etc.for safe keeping.
